PESHAWAR: An investigation team of US experts arrived in Peshawar to probe the blasts outside the US Consulate in the city yesterday, Geo News reported Tuesday.
A four-member team visited the blast site and garnered the clues from the site. The debris of buildings has not been removed from the site.
According to the Consulate sources, all the crew remained intact in three blasts.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Malik Naveed Khan also formed two teams headed by the CCPO Peshawar; the teams have commenced their probe.
The police sources told Geo News that the terrorists who attacked the Consulate could not be identified as yet.
Peshawar is under high alert today with the security forces and police contingents on patrol on city roads and streets. The exits and entrances have been picketed and the vehicles are thoroughly searched there.
