Peshawar SHO killed during encounter

PESHAWAR: At least two police officials, including an SHO and an inspector, have been killed while three others have been injured in an encounter with armed men on the outskirts of Peshawar. Two armed men have also been killed in the incident.

According to Police, Badabher SHO Muhammad Riaz and Inspector Mir Salam were killed during the encounter in Sher Khan Bara Village in Badabher, reports DawnNews.

The encounter took place when police conducted a raid on miscreants’ positions in Badabher at around seven in the morning, which continued for two hours.

Meanwhile, the injured have been shifted to Lady Reading hospital.

Badabher is on the border of troubled Darra Adamkhel and Khyber agency and a number of miscreants and criminals have been living here for the last several years.
