BRUSSELS: Half of the flights scheduled for Monday in Europe could go ahead, the European Union presidency said as a volcanic ash cloud grounded thousands of planes for a fourth straight day.
"Forecasts are that half of the flights planned in Europe could take place tomorrow," Spanish Secretary of State for European Affairs Diego Lopez Garrido told a press conference Sunday at the Euro control flight coordinator. Spain holds the EU's rotating presidency
