Pakistan Cricket Board has said the penalties against any players could not be withdrawn or reduced without appeal. PCB Chief Operating Officer Waseem Bari has said the players can file appeals against the penalties with the board till April 15. He said Shoaib Malik has been out of the country due to his wedding and can be given an extendsion in the date of filing the appeal. Meanwhile, wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal and his younger brother Umar have filed a formal appeal against the ban and fine imposed on them last month by the Cricket Board (PCB).
