ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) will hold the final hearing of missing persons’ case today, during which, court’s verdict on the case may likely be surfaced.
SC summoned federal secretaries of three key ministries in connection with missing persons’ case who are due to be appeared before apex court today.
A Supreme Court’s larger bench, headed by Justice Javed Iqbal, will hold decisive hearing of the case today.
Two weeks earlier, the apex court had fixed 18th March as the date for holding final hearing of case.
During hearing, prosecutor told court the Prime Minister was establishing a commission for release and recovery of missing persons, after which, the court had directed government to submit a detailed report on progress of case.
Also, three federal secretaries from Foreign, Defense and Interior ministries are due to appear before SC today.
