Power crisis tops Pak-US talks: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said Pakistan does not want to affect Indo-American ties.

Addressing an inaugural function of Sawan Bridge and service road at Islamabad Expressway, Premier Gilani said power crisis will be top on agenda in Pak-US talks. The strategic Pak-US strategic is significant and will take the nation into confidence after briefing of the Pakistani delegation.

Replying to a question, Gilani said the issues of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui and screening have been raised during the talks with US delegation and the talks with US has been successful.

Prime Minister said relief will be given to the public in coming three years as government is fully aware about the problems of the common man.
