KARACHI: Pakistan coach Waqar Younus had hailed the appointment of star allrounder Shahid Afridi as captain for the Twenty20 world cup.

He said Afridi is an all rounder with a positive frame of mind and has been bowling extremely well in the last two years.

The coach said that just the presence of Afridi on the field gives motivation to the players.—DawnNews.
