KARACHI: Country’s foreign exchange reserves have increased to $14.853 billion in the week ended on March 13, 2010 as compared to $14.803 billion in the previous week, the State Bank of Pakistan said on Thursday.
The overall reserves have witnessed an increase of $50 million during the week. Reserves held by the SBP stood at $10.983 billion, up from $10.96 billion a week earlier, showing an increase of $20 million.
However, reserves held by commercial banks after witnessing a gain of $30 million reach to $3.869 billion as compared to $3.83 billion previous week.
