KARACHI: An accountability court acquitted provincial local bodies minister Agha Siraj Durrani in a NAB reference on Saturday.
Durrani faced embezzlement charges in the amount allocated for purchase of furniture for Swedish Institute in Year 2000.
The presiding judge of the court in his remarks said that no evidence found against the accused minister.
Later, talking to newsmen outside the court premises Siraj Durrani said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Saif-ur-Rehman had implicated him in false cases.
